What is this strength?
This newfound Power?
The knowledge that I have the ability to rise above.
The experience of authority over my flesh.
Command over my desires.
From God's death does this potency flow.
The cross meant not only grace,
But freedom and power.
By the Holy Spirit working in us,
God accomplishes His good will.
We ask of God things we consider impossible,
But He has no need of such a consideration.
From Him does my power flow
In Him is my strength.
The very power of God is made available
To those who love and obey Him.
